I can be found by a google search, is that going to hurt me?
I've been applying for jobs and was wondering if potential employers could find my blog. I had done a search not too long ago and my page was way down in the google search. I wasn't too concerned. I decided to look again today and I come up on the first page now. Is there any way I can make this private for just my followers only? I don't post anything too bad but do I really want a future boss to know that I get gassy when I get massages?

I worry more about your kids finding it... You can change to subscription only in your blogspot preferences...

ReplyDeleteI'm the wrong person to be commenting considering every single thing I've ever done, legal or otherwise, is on my blog. Which I conveniently registered under a domain consisting of my entire legal name. Which makes me super google-able. And I worry that my dad will find it and discover I drink and cuss alot.
ReplyDeleteSo, maybe do what Penne said? Seems like it's getting harder and harder to stay anonymous. Just make sure WE can always find you :)
It caused me a problem with a potential job that I didn't get. That's why I took my name and real photo off. However, google hasn't caught up yet and is still showing my name even though I took it off. They take a while.
